Hello everyone.
It’s been a minute since we talked. It’s actually been one whole week. That’s the longest I’ve gone without posting in a very long time. I’ve been on vacation. Had Thanksgiving and the Friday after off, then took all of the following week off. It was a full week for sure, filled with lots of snow and watching movies. My birthday was December 2nd, so we had a lovely dinner with our daughter and my parents at Cibo Ristorante in Columbia City. We also changed a flat tire on our daughter’s car during her lunch break last Tuesday. Some Indian food for my actual birthday. My wife finished one quilt and is well into another. I listened to a lot of music, watched a lot of movies, and have begun mixing and mastering tracks for a new release. Did some drawing as well.

Last Thursday I did something to my back after an awkward 25-minute walk on my walking pad. Upper back, left shoulder blade. My entire torso hurt most of Thursday night. It was one of those pains where you’re like “Oh wait…is this a heart attack?” and then the anxiety sets in. It settled down after a couple hours and some pain meds, but it’s been on and off since then. Saturday night I spiked a fever and then I thought maybe the pain was from some virus. Yesterday I was a lot better. Still stiff and sore, but at least it didn’t hurt to take a deep breath.

Getting older is challenging.
Anyways, just wanted to pop in and say “Hello! I’m alive!”. Rest of this month will be busy with me getting my year-end lists ready, as well as a few more album reviews and mental health check-ins. The usual. Hope everyone has been well the past week. Two more full weeks of work then I’m off another week and a half between Christmas and New Years.
That’s how you end a year, folks.

Oh man. A fall like you had is what I like to call a “hobbler”. You’ll be feeling that till 2026 my friend. And thanks! She thinks she’s a lap dog….a 65 lb lap dog.

Yeah I definitely will be feeling it for weeks to come. I have good days and bad. I couldn’t finish Friday’s show on my own, Harrison had to finish it.
65 lbs lap dog…like a weighted blanket!
