Just a little reminder that we’re going thru a bit of a cold spell here in the Midwest. Supposed to last through the week. Currently in the pre-Dawn hours the windchill is making it feel in the negatives. This is not conducive to wanting to leave my bed, let alone my house.
Yesterday I spent most of it drinking coffee, working on a painting, and listening to jazz. Made for a pleasant MLK holiday. But now that I’m heading back into reality I’m pretty bummed. Work is just a real drag anymore, but I’m not old enough to retire nor too young that starting over somewhere else seems fun. So I will muck my way through, day to day.
Well it’s time to warm up the car for that 12 minute drive to work. The dog is curled up on the couch on one of the kids old comforters. She’s got the right idea.
